Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day to all you daddies out there! We had a great weekend, that included a trip to Birmingham and a major cookout today with the Graffeo / Powell / Zicarelli clan! Since I have not uploaded those pictures yet, I selected one of my favorite pictures of my husband.
I am so lucky because Tom puts up with my crazy hormones - three kids in 20 months - can you imagine the roller coaster I have been on? He is super with the kiddos, he is not afraid to watch all three by himself, he can literally carry on a conversation with anyone. More importantly, and after much training, he knows the little things are the most important to me and he can layout on the beach with me (under an umbrella, with 50 sunblock, a good book and a beer) for several hours.
So here is to my Babies' Daddy - I love you!

Guess What We Are Up To...

Yes, that is right - I am attempting to potty train my little girl!! She has been showing signs for the past couple of weeks (insisting I change her diaper immediately after something happens), but I have been in denial that she is actually ready. Not to mention I am also wondering how I am going to throw new event this into the mix of our daily routine. I am very proud to say that Elizabeth's first trip to the potty she went poopy and I did take a picture, but against my will I have decided not to post it. I was so proud of her and I thought, gosh this is going to be a breeze. Well, let's just say that was the only time something has actually made it into the potty. I feel as though I have a new puppy in the house, which everyone keeps telling me this is normal....but when will it end?
So we are about a week into the training and Elizabeth is in pull-ups and big girl underwear (I hate the p-word). I am completely open to any suggestions, I really have no clue what to do, but I am very eager to hear what worked for you! Oh, i have tried M&Ms and she does not like them, but she does like her cookies and stickers.
I cannot post without adding pictures of the boys...
Sweet, handsome Tom

John William Goes to the Doctor

John William sleeps through his first bath at home....
Mia assists with the process John William goes to the doctor on 4/16/09 and Dr. B is
very happy with his development thus far!
Weight: 7 pounds
Height: 19 1/2 inches
Head: 35 1/4
He is pretty much sleeping and eating all day every day - I still feed him every three hours which really does not take long at all and it is different doing the feedings with just one child - I actually get to hold him in my arms!
...and while Tom is at work, I have my Manny (Papa) come with us to the doctor
Similar to Tom and Elizabeth, I always take a picture in their birthday suit on the scale.
A close-up of my hunk at his next doctor's appointment on 5/3/09.
Growing is an under statement!
Weight: 12 pounds, 50th%
Height: 22", 30th%
Head 39 1/2 inches, 50th%
I am so proud of JW, it is awesome having a child that is actually 'on the charts'! This little guy is a great baby. I hate to jinx anything, but he is regularly sleeping through the night. I really owe the credit to Mom's on Call. I used them with the twins (at nearly four months) and learned the sooner I stick to their schedule the sooner he will be a sleeping baby. He may eat once during the night, but he goes to bed about 9pm, wakes around 6, then eats at 10, 2, and 4. Yes, that is right only five feedings in a day and somehow it gets done while I watch the other two.
My he has grown! He is sleeping and eating great -

and he still loves his baths
