Third Child's First Birthday = Four Cakes...and a Breakfast Cinnamon Roll

John William's birthday started with a single candle breakfast cinnamon roll
(don't worry, he really did not eat much)! Just had to include this outfit,
because Tom also wore it on his first birthday...
and the hat All Powell birthdays are celebrated at our local La Paz in Vinings Trying to take a family photo Jo Jo and Toppy shared the birthday meal with us
By far, the best picture of the kiddos (aka mom was acting like a fool behind the camera)
Cake at the first party, in Birmingham
What a handsome birthday boy!!!
Small 'smash' cake with party one
The birthday crown, also worn by big brother Tom
Why didn't someone tell me I had Elizabeth's barrette in my hair??
During Birthday #2, Grandmother Charlee reads to Tom
Minutes before smashing birthday cake #1
During Birthday Party #2, Grandmother Powell reads Madeline (for the first time) to Elizabeth. I guess that is what you get for having three boys.
The birthday boy and mommy (still sporting the baby bangs,
which are finally starting to grow...one year later!!!)
Birthday cake at party #2
Party #1, we just finished singing and the eating is about to begin!
Having fun
Birthday Party #2 - I want cake!!! Birthday Party #1 - could not get the cake in fast enough!
Going to take a bath
Birthday Party #2 - I've got my crown on, let the signing begin
Birthday Party #2 - my little friend Cooper
I really don't want to share my Puffs Birthday #2 - JW is so excited!!!
I think he likes the eating more than the singing
I am stuffed, but do I have anything on my face?
John William and the Atlanta Grandmothers
Jo Jo and Toppy gave John William a sandbox;
everyone played nice and shared the new toys.
Of course it was not long before John William lost interest;
he decided he wanted to try something else. Going, going....
Gone! Notice Daddy does not move and Mommy is still taking pictures.
John William is the first Powell child to fall out of the sandbox,
but he rebounds quicklyUncle Phil to the rescue
One last hug from Jo Jo before I go down for a nap
John William did a number on his cake
